I never knew people were allowed to go up to Petronas Twin Towers skybridge.

I never knew they were giving out 1,000 free tickets per day to visit it.
I never knew just how early you have to be there to grab a ticket.
Until yesterday.
We were there at 8.00 am, and we were still not early enough to be one of the first in line.

They only start giving out the tickets at 8.30 am, and you can imagine the long wait.
Thanks to Andrew, our hero who queued up for an hour plus, we manage to snag tickets for 1.45 pm, which was better than nothing.
Before entering later on, we checked out the tourist attraction exhibit which were all related to the World's tallest skyscrapers.
The coolest part?

The lightning generator which runs every 10 minutes.
It's something to do with how the towers are able to avoid lightning strikes by having the appropriate 'built' to channel the lightning from it's surface. Scientific stuff.

Me and Andrew with our tickets, waiting to go in.
Once in, we had to first watch some 3D educational documentary about the Petronas Twin Towers. There were a lot of tourists there, so i guess it must have been fascinating to them.
I was bored. XD
Then we took the elevator to the 41st floor, which was where the skybridge was.
The view:

We could see almost all of KL.
Would have looked cool if it were actually raining at the time.

With Andrew, over looking the Sime Darby tower.

With mister Vuitton Yang, who dubbed me Versace.

There is a total of 88 floors, and we're less than half way up.

Two thumbs up for the view (inspired by Shaun) XD

The three of us. XD
It was fun dudes, we should check out the KL Tower the next time round.
Lolx.

What is surrealism?

Charmingly handsome, but very quirky.

The Persistence of Time
One of his more famous artworks where he shows both softness and hardness in time, manipulating time with gravity. It's basically everything that time is and not. Like any surreal art, this image would mean a whole lot of different things to others, and nothing to some.

Landscape of Butterflies
This would be one of my favorites. I love how he incorporates illusion and gives the illusion of a parallel reality just by playing around with the shadows.
Surrealism is finally coming back to me after all the commercialized crap I have been facing within the past 2 years. Not that commercialization is crap, but it definitely is when it's overdone.

In my own words, it is a representation of one's subconscious mind where anything and absolutely anything is possible. It is usually only understood by the artist, and would translate into many different messages to others.
That is the beauty of surrealism.
I've recently discovered Crabwolf! which is a collection of works by different artists.
Most which are surreal with a touch of avant garde pop.

These are some of the cool stuff they have.
Believe me, they have cooler stuff in store. :D
Check them out and show some lurve: CRABWOLF!
One of my favorite surrealists of all time is just about everyone else's favorite.
To all those who did not take up History of Arts in college, meet Salvador Dali.

Today, my sister woke me up to tell me that i have just received an overseas package, addressed to me & my cat.

**Address has been mosaic-ed to avoid any potential kidnappers from finding me. XD
And the first thing i saw upon opening the envelope?

A big pair of green eyes staring back at me.
It's none other than Boris Kitty, Lord Fatty's Twitter fur-rend. :3
Yep, this was the prize that my kitty cat won about a month ago. The one where ive been telling everyone to keep voting for.
My kitty didnt get the grand prize in the end, but oh well, runner up isnt too bad either. XD
Okay, so back to the prize.
This is what my kitteh won.

A Twice da Mice toy from Play N' Squeak toys for cats.
Just like the packaging says, the mice really do give out a realistic squeak as you touch or tap on them.
I really liked that mousie with the feathery tail. XD

So i decided to use the plain tailed mousie first and it was so cute! :D
My kitty loved it, but since he just had his bath, he got bored and was more interested in licking himself dry (although i had used the hairdryer on him for 20 minutes before).
Best time to play with kitty is early in the morning, about 6am or 7am when his nocturnal hyper mode is on.
Right now though, the only thing he's interested in is this:

Yep, snoozing like how a real cat do.
And this here is some random shot taken some time ago in the car at night while we were at the KFC drive thru.

I know that there's waaay to many cat posts here, but i dont care! :P

Had a very good day, spent almost the entire afternoon with my kitty cat.
Feels good to have this much time for bonding. :)
He's becoming more well behaved, and also more erratic, but im very pleased with him most of the time.

Im really loving that tie-dye colored collar + leash set we bought for him.
Makes his grey fur look somehow not so plain, somewhat metrosexual i think. Lolx.
He lost his previous one which had a gold bell. This one now has a blue bell instead.
Not as nice as the gold one, obviously.
