Bloggers With Dreams Of Wanderlust
Monday, February 02, 2015
Another year, another dream. What sort of dreams? Travel, of course.
All those who have been bitten by the travel bug can relate. There are countless of amazing bloggers out there, each and everyday creating more and more content on travel and their adventures. I myself, have just read some exciting adventures of other bloggers who were in Sicily, Latvia, Egypt and even one who visited The Dead Sea. Such exotic stories!
By now, I have a long list of places I want to visit and a mission to travel more each year. For this very special reason, I have gathered a few other bloggers, some local and some from abroad, to share their travel wishlist for 2015 (and of course, mine too, at the end.)

Travel wishlist: Japan

Travel wishlist: India
"India feels like the unknown to me. Whilst I was a little out of my comfort zone in Thailand, I would be completely out of my comfort zone was I to visit India. But in my eyes that's definitely a good thing, I'm tired of playing it safe and it's time for something completely different to what I've experienced before."

Travel wishlist: New York City, USA
"It might be a cliché wish list destination, but I think there must be a reason for it! As my husband and I live in London, when we go on holiday we tend to choose the opposite of where we live, places we can enjoy the scenery and relax (e.g. we've been to Santorini, the Maldives & Lake Como most recently). But there is something undeniably iconic and fascinating about NYC, and I cannot wait to explore one of the top cities in the world. The food & shopping are at the top of my priorities, as well as the typical tourist attractions!"

Travel wishlist: Iceland
"This year I wish to travel to Iceland. It has always been one of those travel destinations that I have had filled somewhere in the back of my mind. A must-see, sometime in the future. My interest was peaked when I went to see an architectural exhibition based on Reykjavik . This is when I realised that this country did not only have an amazingly beautiful landscape, it also had an extremely interesting culture and traditions. Last year I narrowly missed out on a very affordable deal and it has made me even more determined to go. I am definitely hoping for an opportunity to see the Aurora Borealis. Furthermore I want to explore the capital. I would like to participate in a spot of whale watching and go seek out the Geysir. There are just so many things to do and explore. I can't wait to go..."

Travel wishlist: Japan
"The culture, food and people. I've been a fan of Japan since my primary school days when I was first introduced to Japan by my anime cartoon (Japanese animation). Soon, that child fantasy grew into a desire to learn about their culture and language. I actually took Japanese lessons too hoping that one day I could travel there. (:"

And finally, my wishlist for 2015...

I want to go to South Africa!
It is an amazing place, especially to see the wildlife they have here. I love animals and I had always wanted to go on a search for Simba & Kiara since I was 5 years old (too many Disney cartoons). Aside from that, they have beautiful, scenic areas and the people there are really nice too. I have acquaintances who have been there, and they can't stop raving about the magical experience they had – think Madagascar, but on a much bigger scale (and wilder too!)
I hope you enjoyed this post very much – and perhaps even gained some ideas to add to your travel list. I have since added a travel section on my blog where I link up posts of places I have been to, and also add in where I'm heading off to next – and ultimately, where I want to go. Where would you like to go to in 2015? Do share!
