Spring Into Ferragamo This 2015
Monday, March 02, 2015Before the Lunar year madness, a group of us were given the privilege to view Salvatore Ferragamo's Spring/Summer 15' collection. It was an early morning affair, fueled by coffee and sweet treats while we admire the pastel colored fares from their fashion palate.
One of the most notable design elements is the use of chains, small and big, which are quite apparent in most of their pieces. I especially like how it was implemented into this pair of pointed-toe heels. There is also a lot of bow elements that gives each bag and wallet a feminine touch – a bow borrowed from their infamous Vara & Varina shoes (which I've spoken of before) – to match with sweet pastel colors.
There were also three gorgeous models on standby – for us to direct them into trying out some of the other clothes from the new collection. It's not everyday one gets to boss some models around so.. here are some of the looks. Also, check out some of their beautiful scarves on display, especially LOVE the Indian-themed one that was on display.
I came home with a Museo Moderne scented candle that brings fresh scents of Bulgarian roses into the room. They know how obsessed I am over candles these days! :) Plus, if you have been following me on Instagram, you'd have seen my recent 'watercolor shoes' artwork, with this unique Ferragamo layered wedge platform as a first piece. Stay tuned for more!
The new SS15 collection is now available in all Salvatore Ferragamo stores in KLCC & Pavilion.
