Have a palate that is attuned to Turkish fare? You're in luck!

For the whole month of July, up till August 3rd, The BIG Bazaar will be happening in Publika, with various food-related activities happening – to keep your appetite whetted and your cravings satisfied.

For starters, Turkish products are on sale from now till August 3rd – where you can purchase spices, nuts, teas, dried fruits, baklava and lokum that are specially air-flown from in from Istanbul, just in time for this festive season. These are very seasonal and unfamiliar Turkish delicacies that would definitely appeal to the curious Malaysian foodies.


JULY 11-26: TURKISH FOOD BAZAAR @ THE SQUARE, PUBLIKA
Come one, come all – savor Turkish fare in a wide variety of Shish Kebab, Lamb Kofta, Tomato Dolmas, Oven-baked Turkish Shortrib, Mercimek Çorbası (lentil soup), Güveç stew, Fattoush salad, Turkish ice-cream and the list goes on. There are also local varieties available for those who are seeking something closer to home. Drop by every Tuesdays to Fridays for this luscious spread and eat to the sounds of acoustic tunes from local busking geniuses - expect a mix of modern contemporary music with a mix of festive Raya specials.




JULY 11-26: TRY TURKISH-INSPIRED DISHES IN BEN'S & PLAN B OUTLETS
This is your chance to taste specially crafted dishes, inspired by the vibrant sights, smells and sounds of Istanbul. It's time to educate your taste buds! Quoting Chloe & Kelly (from My Kitchen Rules S5); "Changing the world one palate at a time!"


Who doesn't love Turkish delights?



The BIG Bazaar is  collaboration between The BIG Group and Publika Shopping Gallery, so expect loads of food, music and fun – with a Turkish Ebru Art (paper marbling) activity happening on the 12 & 13 July, 5pm, and also a Shadow Play performances that date back to the Ottoman Empire by talented artists specially flown in from Turkey, on the 19 & 20 July.
