"the invisible fence"

You know that phrase where having 'a white picket fence is the American dream'? Well, how about an invisible picket fence then?

Installed by the amazing Alyson Shotz, this fence is made out of mirrors. It turns the boundaries of your yard practically invisible. At certain angles and certain lighting, you can't even see the fence at all. It might not be the traditional white picket fence dream, but it's way cooler.

Also, if you live in a four-season country, you can also have a fence that changes colors every three months. Ain't that cool or what? Of course in Malaysia it would look the same throughout the year and would only have the difference shown between a sunny day and a rainy day. Plus, it might reflect unsightly littering on the ground if you have inconsiderate neighbors. UGH.

At least in a winter country, some would still get their white picket fence dream. :)

I love this concept of artists using mirrors to enhance something. Remember that beautiful room of rainbows installation that also uses a lot of mirrors? So amazing, the effect that something so simple as an everyday mirror can achieve.

Who needs a cloak of invisibility when you can have this?
